The Royal Kuhio is located in the heart of Waikiki. Guests will find themselves within walking distance to hundreds of shops, restaurants and entertainment destinations. The world famous Waikiki Beaches are just a 4 block walk. Surfing, swimming, and relaxation under the sun are at your fingertips.

This condo is one of the Penthouse Suites at the Royal Kuhio. It is very large with a full modern kitchen with a stove with an oven, large fridge with a freezer, a dishwasher and all utensils and pots and pans so you can prepare meals at the condo an save money.

The condo has two queen beds in the master bedroom, two full beds in the second bedroom and a sofa-sleeper. There are two full bathrooms with all linens furnished.

You will have a free parking stall located on the first floor of the parking ramp in the building.

Parking usually costs $25 per night so you will be able to have a place to park your car free and go in and out anytime you desire.

The condo has two huge lanais with furniture to relax and enjoy the great views. You will have a fantastic ocean view from one lanai and a Manoa valley view from the other lanai. You will see beautiful rainbows in the valley. You can watch the fireworks show every Friday night from the other lanai. The night views and the sunsets are really colorful and unbelievable. You will remember the views forever. You will be just two blocks to the most famous beaches and world class shopping and restaurants. You can walk to the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, Duke's Statue and Kuhio Beach, and visit all the famous resorts and sites in Waikiki.

The Royal Kuhio Bldg. has a huge recreation deck with a large ‘L’ shape swimming pool, Sauna, BBQ area, tennis courts, exercise room, playground, Gym with Bathrooms, Ping pong tables and two pool tables coin operated laundry and lounging area.

Amazing Views! Super clean property by Hersh C. 11/06/2017
Loved staying at this penthouse condo with awesome views of both the mountains and the ocean. Property owner Mark and manager Joey were both very helpful before and during the trip. It was walking distance to food, bars, ocean, resorts, etc. Perfect location if you have a big group and don't want to spend away your savings on a resort. Thanks again Mark and Joey!

Aloha I am having a happy day in Hawaii with memories. ^^ It was a very meaningful time for me to stay in Hawaii. It seemed that the place I stayed in was a part of that happy memory. The house I stayed in was really clean, the scenery was good and the things I needed were perfect. I was so grateful to be able to send my family and the house without any inconvenience. I want to stay here again when my family comes back to Hawaii.

Condo unit: 5 stars Hawaii Americana Realty (HAR) :5 stars Royal Kuhio (RK) 7th floor common area: 3 stars My first VRBO experience! We liked that HAR rep Joey (very friendly & professional) greeted us in front of the building upon our arrival. He showed us around (unit & parking area) & gave us basic info. The penthouses (32nd floor & up) have their own set of elevators therefore bypassing all the other floors (except the 7th). Code access (key-less) entry into unit. Penthouses also have a washer/dryer, so no need to use the coin-operated laundry facility on 7th floor. It was pretty hot during our visit but we rarely used the A/C; it was pretty breezy in the living area & master bedroom (open sliding doors). Bring/buy earplugs in case you use the A/C while sleeping. Unit was clean; basic necessities (like towels, toilet paper supply, sponges, dish soap, kitchen/dish towels) were provided. Kitchen/Dining/Living area was open concept, perfect for big groups to gather. It was great that there were sand toys, beach chairs, & boogie boards provided. (Not sure if provided by owner, or left by previous tenants.) I like that the unit has tile floors throughout. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in beds; another 2 in the living room sofa sleeper (we didn’t use) & if you really need it, another person can sleep on the bedroom sofa (not a sleeper or futon-style). The master bedroom has TV, closet & dressers; 2nd bedroom has TV, closet, plus a "cube shelf" for things like bags & backpacks. (It would’ve been nice to have shelves or a small set of drawers in the 2nd bedroom closet.) Great feature: parking spot (but we didn't rent a car during our Waikiki stay). RK lobby area was clean & well-lit with security guy present. To get to the elevators, you need a special key (you get 2). The 7th floor common area (pool, sport court, gym, BBQ area, shuffle board, ping-pong, putting green, self-laundry) was a nice feature of RK (definitely needs updating) but we didn't use it. RK was closer to the beaches than I expected...just a short 2-3 blocks; plus close to Starbucks, Ross, the new International Market Place, grocer & many restaurants. When we return, we would definitely consider this specific unit or other rentals managed by HAR. HAR replied to my inquiries in a timely manner & was easy to work with. SecDep refund hit my credit card on 10th day after checkout. BONUS: Watch the Hilton Hawaiian Village Fireworks on Friday night from the balcony!

Our stay was wonderful it was on the 32nd floor. Walking distance to everything. Even McDonald's right across the street for breakfast if you needed to in a hurry. The owners representative met us in the lobby showed us around the unit and gave us Keys and helped us with the parking. If we come back to Oahu ever again this is the place we will stay thank you for allowing us to stay in your Home.

Perfect location, close to the beach, main strip and buses right outside your door. The condo was very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again if we have a group. Slept 4 of us nicely each having our own bed and sparing a bathroom between two. All in all it was great value and the air con works well. Amazing views of the sunset and great views on both balconies.

It was my first time renting through VRBO/Home Away, Mark and his team made everything so easy. From answering my questions and concerns weeks before check, til the very end of check out. The penthouse itself is beautiful and very spacious with everything up to date. It easily accommodated myself and my 10 guests. There was more than enough room to entertain in the living and dining area so we could all be together and have a good time. When we did go out, we realized it was pretty much centered in Waikiki, about a 5 minute walk to the Royal Hawaiian and International Market Place. The penthouse was on the 32nd floor and had it's own set of elevators for the penthouses. The views from both lanai's were amazing, I remember waking up one morning to the view of cotton candy skies as the sun was rising(best way to be woken up!!). It was renovated beautifully and I had nothing but great reviews from my fellow guests as well for choosing this place to spend our weekend. All in all, I will be staying here again without a doubt for more of my Waikiki stay cations!
